Scotland is our new home now and we love it here. It’s not easy starting a new life from zero, but seen where we are now, it was the best decision we could have made. Mostly for our two boys who are 4 and 3 years old. We love how Scotland is so much kids friendly.

MY MORNING ROUTINE
We are glad we managed to keep our business sustainable considering the last changes in our lives due to the pandemic. We now focus more on the wholesale and we hope soon to move our workshop out of home. It’s time for our small business to have its own premises. In as much detail as possible please tell us about your morning routine (we’d love to hear about meditation, exercise, food & drink, family, skincare/health?) We all wake up very early, (thanks to Aggelos’ internal clock which is set up on 5:00 am). This gives us time to enjoy our breakfast. We love fresh fruits and oatmeal. My morning routine is a good face cleansing and when the boys are off to nursery I do Yoga. I also try to exercise three days per week and run on the treadmill. Weather permitted I love walking to the parks nearby. I have been exercising my whole life and the last years with the two pregnancies back to back, plus the lockdowns, I’ve put on weight. Now I am starting to going back to my usual habits.

MY FUTURE PLANS
We are glad we managed to keep our business sustainable considering the last changes in our lives due to the pandemic. In fact our online sales were tripled than the previous year. We now focus more on the wholesale and we hope soon to move our workshop out of home. It’s time for our small business to have its own premises.

3 THINGS ABOUT ESTIA SOAPS

  1. Estia soaps is the result of a hobby on homemade natural cosmetics and soaps I had back in Greece from 2006.
  2. All our soaps have been inspired from the ancient Greek mythology, and each soap is named after a Greek God/Goddess. The essential oils and herbs that are inside each soap, are selected after a long research and they represent the sacred plants of each God. The personality of the God/Goddess is actually mirrored in the ingredients, therefore the moment you choose a soap is not only about your skin, but you actually choose something that also fits your personality. Just try it! You will never find anything synthetic in our soaps as we want to keep “clean energy” and receive all the maximum benefits for skin and spirit.
  3. The trigger to start my business was the birth of Aggelos. When we found out that he was born with Down syndrome I felt it was time to change my career (I was a spa manager). I felt the need to create a family business to have flexibility so I could focus more on him and something my boys could have in the future.
