INSPIRATION
I am a qualified animal scientist, teacher and holistic therapist and almost two years ago I decided to start making aromatherapy butters and lotions. When I couldn’t find the products I wanted, I decided to make them myself, and by making them with plant based ingredients, no animal products and with no artificial ingredients or perfumes, they are suitable for vegans and vegetarians alike.

DESERT ISLAND PRODUCT
It would have to be Sirius Magic as we use it on everything - sunburn, windburn, sores, dry patches, flaky skin, dry skin, just everything. I use all my products, but if I could only keep one, it would be Magic.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOUR BRAND?
I am trialling growing herbs this year that I want to harvest, dry and use in my products next year when I (hopefully) start selling soap and shampoo bars, and I also want to start making animal creams - go back to my animal science roots!
TAKE ACTION AT HOME
• Keep it simple - do you really need all those products?
• Turn off the tap when brushing teeth - if we all did it, it would make a huge difference
• Shallow baths and quick showers - you don’t need to fill the bath to the brim, and do you really need to take that long in the shower? Again, small changes can make a huge difference, and a shallow bath doesn’t necessarily use more water than a long shower!
