INSPIRATION
I spent a lot of time with my grandmother in the south of France on the family farm, as did Sophie when she was born. For both of us it’s been a way of life to work with nature rather than against it, and the idea of using harsh chemicals was alien when good old fashioned remedies would do the trick.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOUR BRAND?
We are really passionate about looking at packaging and how we can reduce waste wherever possible. There are so many conflicting voices out there about packaging (whether it’s glass, plastic or so called bioplastics) and after a lot of research there’s so much greenwashing around packaging and we don’t want to end up promoting something that doesn’t fit with our ethos!
TAKE ACTION AT HOME
• Throw out the synthetic bath bombs, body washes and creams, in fact anything synthetic just bin it and instead opt for plant based and organic alternatives.
• Look for the Soil Association Organic logo as they take the hard work of understanding labels out of the equation when you’re buying products for your hair, face and skin.
• Swap your normal bathroom cleaner/spray for one that uses plant based ingredients and natural fragrances (essential oils) don’t be alarmed by warnings on the back of products that use essential oils as their scent, the laws on labelling for natural scents like essential oils are more strict than for synthetic and chemical filled products.
