But what to do if you want to stay safe and cannot try perfume before you buy?

Check the perfume notes

Look up perfumes you already wear and love. Check what the top, heart and base perfume notes are and use this as your guide to finding your next signature scent. See if you can find freshly released perfumes by your favourite perfumer as they often use very similar characteristics in their perfumes.

Recalling memories

Summer calls for fresh and fruity experiences, find an organic scent that captures the free spirit of your last summer holiday. Memories of golden sunsets and long walks in Provence are beautifully captured in fresh, warm L’Occitane fragrances with their enchanting citrus and honey notes. Or escape to Bordeaux, with marvellously balanced, natural Caudalie perfumes full of sensual layers and remiscent of French summer gardens.

What memories do you wish to recall from your ‘olfactory bank’ with your next favourite scent?
