We are excited to announce the Green Parent Family Travel Awards 2024.
We’ve been encouraging ethical travel and sustainability practices in holiday accommodation since we launched 19 years ago. This year we’re launching awards so that we can showcase the very best.

We started producing a Green Family Travel Guide over 8 years ago, showcasing the very finest ethical places to stay with a family. We have packed each guide full of holidays to suit every taste and budget from yurts in the woods to beautifully restored gypsy caravans, campsites in the heart of the countryside to luxurious converted barns.
This year we’ve decided to go one better and launch our own travel awards, meaning that we can pick out the créme de la créme of ethical travel.
We’ll be looking for the very best campsites, adventure holidays, self catering spots and family attractions and highlighting their green credentials and what makes them the best.

Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter as many categories as you choose. You will need to pay an entry fee for each category that you enter.
What is the final date for entries?
All entries must be received by 31st October 2023.
Does The Green Parent need product samples?
The Green Parent does not require product samples.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced on 12th Jan 2024. Winners will be featured in The Green Parent Family Holiday Guide 2024, published on this date, and featured on The Green Parent website and through all our social media channels.
If I don’t win will we still be featured in the travel guide?
All entries to the awards will be featured in The Green Parent Travel Holiday Guide 2024.
Will there be promotional graphics if I win?
Winners will receive promotional graphics, which can be used for marketing purposes.
Do holidays have to be based in the UK
Holidays do not need to be based in the UK. There will be sections for European and International Holidays within the Family Holiday Guide 2024.
When will I hear if I have received an award.
All winners will be notified in early December 2023.
Who are the judging panel?
The Green Parent Travel Awards judges are a team of Green Parent staff members, travel writers, experts and readers.
What is the judging process?
Each entry will be carefully assessed and information requested to back up environmental credentials and sustainability practices.
What will it mean for me to win an award?
Winning an award in The Green Parent Family Travel Awards will be a huge accolade and bring great brand awareness, as you will be promoted to our readership of 100,000 eco-concious parents. Recognition from this well-respected, ethical family brand will set you apart from your competition.
How much does it cost to enter?
It costs £50 +VAT per entry.
Will I receive an invoice?
An invoice will automatically be emailed to you after entry
