Take One Picture is the National Gallery’s flagship programme for primary schools and showcases children’s responses to Pintoricchio’s Penelope with the Suitors.

Children were inspired by Homer’s epic story of Odysseus and Penelope, as depicted in Pintoricchio’s painting. They responded by creating their own portraits, painting voyages and flag designs as well as building mythical sea creatures.

To celebrate this free exhibition, the National Gallery is offering the chance to win a range of children’s art prizes. The prize includes a Greek myths sticker book, The Great Art Activity Book, National Gallery colour pencils and a Trafalgar Square lion soft toy.

For your chance to win, email your name and address to: [email protected], with the email subject line of ‘The Green Parent’ by 11.59pm on 10 July 2018.
