Brockwell Park near Tulse Hill I assume, it is not far for us on the train, but have never been there .... I’m finding it difficult to go to new places at the mo’, .... she has just grown out of the pushchair so I take her out on the scooter but today we went out to Richmond (1 hours away) and she fell asleep on the train on the way home the last 15 minutes, after having huge tantrums on the station and I had to carry her home on my shoulder .... now utterly exhasuted .... could be tempted though, as weather improves

Hi Keeks

I am just getting back into the swing of the forum after being away for some time. I would love meet up. I work, but flexibly and take a good few days off a month. I am based in East London, but I am thinking that with the new East London Line. SE London is not that difficult to get to.

Oh Fantastic!!
You should come for a slingmeet (I organise them) at the Horniman Museum on Tuesday 18th at 10:30
Horniman is a lovely place!

I am happy to have found this thread! Keeks I was about to give up on slingmeet because I cannot register online as my computer does not read the 6 digit code that you have to enter to register. I am based in south east LOndon too in Hither Green but used to live in Forest HIll and it is only 20 min by bus.
It would be lovely to meet up and although I have family around next week I will try to come.
I am interested by purchasing a MT, do you have any to try or do you know anyone who would be willing to help me?  Ideally I am looking for Ergo, beco or patapum…those have been mentioned by ladies on this forum.
Thank you!

Hiyer

I to am also in SE london (Plumstead) and also went to a few sling meets a couple of years ago. I don’t get round to doing anything like that at mo due to work commitments but would be up for meet ups on Fridays (at mo) and soon to be more when on maternity leave which will kick in in about 7 weeks!!!!! Not that I am counting or anything.
