Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of an eco-friendly container for storing Weetabix. We don’t eat many of them but it would be good to find a way to stop an open pack from going soft.
My husband wants to buy a Lock and Lock container but I would really like to avoid purchasing new plastic items if possible. I have been looking for a suitable glass container but can’t find anything… Anyone know of one?

Thanks,
Sam x

Not sure of a glass container but what about a tin? You can easily find these in charity shops, or if you wanted a new one, the shops will be full of biscuit and cake tins soon enough (full or empty, but if you buy a filled one you get to eat the biscuits first wink ). A rectangular one would probably fit them? x

I put a bag clip on the paper bag it comes in, it then stays in the box it comes in.

Love, Sunshinexx

Kilner jars?

Don’t know whether these are just advertising or whether they are made to fit, but here’s a vintage weetabix tin - the measurements are in the description: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-WEETABIX-TIN-/371178991916?pt=UK_Collectables_Advertising_ET&hash=item566bfdf12c
