I’m really craving vegan pizza right now and would love to find one to use? Can any one recommend something that tastes good and melts? Or am I asking the impossible?!

Violife do a cheese that is supposed to be especially for pizzas. I haven’t tried it - we usually use Vegusto grated on things but it doesn’t do ‘mozzarella’ things.
The best vegan pizza we have is in a veggie cafe we often go to. They make a sauce out of vegan mayo and Engevita yeast flakes and dollop it on the pizza in blobs. It is pretty yummy - you could try doing something like that! tongue wink

Yes I have tried Violife and it is probably the most melty/cheesy vegan cheese I have tried but still not really cheesy. I do put it on pizza sometimes though most often I make a soft cashew cheese(cashews, lemon, garlic, olive oil, yeast flakes and salt) and blob it on pizza.it doesnt melt but it very yummy!! Especially if it is combined with blobs of homemade vegan pesto!YUM!! might have to make pizza soon!!xxx

Are you on Facebook?  There’s a whole group devoted to vegan cheeses!! I’m sure it’s called something like “Vegan Cheese Lovers Group” or something, might be worth joining!
