I live in a small village and our local shops are a bus journey away, I tend to have to travel to by washing liquid ,heavy goods, ect, I have a large ruck sack and lots of cotton bags but these are starting to take a toil on my back and arms, when I was out shopping the other day I saw fab shopping trolly (bright pink and green). Is any one using one does it help to take the strain off your back? The other thing is I don't want to look like my Granny (she's 94 and wonderfull, but does belong to the shampoo and set brigrade ) so does any one know where to buy them in bright funky colours and patterns. Or does any one have any other idears?

p.s did google them but the nice ones were way above my budget.

I have a bright orange one, with a funky floral print in bright orange form IKEA.
We always walk/bus to the shops in town, and to save my back and arms, I take 'her' with me.
There's a piccie of the black option at the bottom of page in link. it's to the right.

way too much money, but really yummy:

I'm wondering if you could get a granny one and applique it or something to make it funky…...........Are you handy like that?

Here you go - child labour LOL!

I'm going to get one when we don't need a pushchair any more - at the moment we hang everything on there or put it underneath and I can't manage the pushchair and a shopping trolley. But they are a great idea I think. My mum always used to ahve one when I was a child and we always took it to the shops with us. Definitely saved the arms and back.
