Toys seems to be a subject that comes up quite a lot on the boards, so I was thinking it would be helpful if we kept a thread where we all add our favourite wooden/ethical toy websites. That way, if someone is looking for something specific, there is a nice list of reputable, recommended sources to check through (this means only adding websites you’ve had good experiences with though wink)

I was thinking of maybe a copy and paste list? So that you only need to click on the last post in the thread to see everyones suggestions rather than reading lots of posts.

So, Copy, paste and add your own suggestions

http://www.myriadonline.co.uk - Obviously

http://www.toyspectrum.com - This site has a lot of things the myriad things cheaper, and a lot of ‘extensions’ to the myriad ranges, but P&P can be pricy as its from Germany. Worth stocking up in one go

To get 10% off http://www.nicnacnoo.com just type in ‘greentoy’ when checking out

can i add one to your list http://www.funkymoose.co.uk
they have these fabulous wooden ‘eco’ animals - organic maple wood i think, i love them!  http://www.funkymoose.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=69_277

I’d like to add http://www.naturalbabyshower.co.uk/index.php to the below list. Sells wooden toys and also (rather randomly!) bi-lingual nursery rhyme CDs. I’ve just brought a wooden play arch from them and DD loves it!
