**We spoke to mother-and-daughter team Alicia and Georgia Douvall about how Douvall's got started, and a few things you should know about their brand.**

Founded by Alicia and Georgia after discovering the benefits of pure argan oil, Douvall's delivers exceptional, luxurious results from natural ingredients. What began as a passion has grown into an internationally recognised skincare and beauty collection. At the heart of every product is first cold-pressed, sustainably sourced argan oil, prized for its nourishing properties.

An exclusive partnership with a Moroccan women's co-operative secures top-quality ingredients while supporting fair wages, education and reforestation, delivering beauty with social impact. Every formula is cruelty-free, free from parabens, sulphates, fragrances and toxins, and suitable for sensitive skin.

Giving back is woven into the brand's DNA. Alongside championing female empowerment, Douvall's supports charities including Eden Reforestation. The brand continues to challenge perceptions of natural beauty, proving clean products can be as glamorous and effective as conventional ones.

### **What is your morning beauty routine?**

“My ideal morning starts with stepping outside, even briefly, for fresh air and sunlight to reset my body clock. I begin with a gut health shot, then herbal tea or matcha instead of coffee. When time allows, I add yoga alongside my red light panel. It's less about a ‘perfect’ wellness routine and more about reconnecting before the day begins. Family, pets and dogs are just as valuable.

I also give myself grace. No two mornings look the same, and flexibility matters more than perfection. Working from home can feel isolating, so I make a point of getting outside and connecting with nature and people. True beauty comes from balance, wellbeing and small daily rituals.”

## **3 things about Douvall's we should know**

1. We know where every drop of our argan oil comes from. It's sourced exclusively from a Moroccan women's co-operative we visit every year, where we're always welcomed with a beautiful traditional meal. It's a partnership we're proud of, and together we've helped build a school for the co-operative's children, giving them access to education.
2. We're proudly women-led. Douvall's is 99% run by women, and we're a close-knit team that genuinely feels like family (and mostly is). Everyone rolls up their sleeves: we do everything from developing products and packing orders to customer service, making sure every customer has the best possible experience.
3. We create our own formulas in-house. Our trained formulators develop and make many of our products ourselves, giving us complete creative freedom to innovate with natural ingredients, maintain exceptional quality and bring exciting new ideas to life.
