Chocolate Smoothie Bowl
What’s the difference between smoothie bowls and regular smoothies? Smoothie bowls have a much thicker consistency so you can top them with your favourite add-ons and eat with a spoon, making them an ideal healthy dessert.
Yield: 2 servings
• 480 ml unsweetened almond milk
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 small avocado, peeled and pitted
• 5 pitted dates
• 1 tablespoon chia seeds
• 28 g chocolate protein powder (optional)
• 30 g cocoa powder
• 1 cup ice
1. In a high-speed blender, combine all the ingredients and blend on medium speed until smooth, pausing to scrape the sides if necessary.
2. Pour the smoothie into two bowls and top with sliced bananas, strawberries, and chopped almonds.
