Golden Milk Latte
Drink it hot or allow it to cool and use it to make an iced latte, a favourite of mine during warmer months.
Yield: 2 servings
• 480 ml almond milk
• 1 teaspoon turmeric
• 1 tablespoon honey
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• Dash of ground black pepper
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1. In a small saucepan, combine the almond milk, turmeric, honey, cinnamon, pepper, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium-high heat, whisking often, until smooth and simmering but not boiling.
2. Remove from heat and pour into 2 mugs. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon, if desired.
