I studied complimentary therapies in 2012 and had an active practice treating clients with reflexology and aromatherapy massage when I decided I wanted to expand my knowledge on facial treatment and learn more about the ingredients. I then saw a course in creating face masks and just jumped straight in and my knowledge just grew and grew. Next came Wheesht!
Self care is my ultimate favourite past time! I love the beach. You may be thinking glorioous sun and sand but anywhere with a beach is my little peace of heaven. Even a windy swept east coast of Scotland with horizontal rain, I would be in my element. You can not beat relaxing by the seaside with a good book and a tea or wine.
I love creating and trying out new products. I see a body creme in our future and perhaps a massage range as that is where I started, helping people relax their muscles with a Swedish massage.
WAYS TO BE MORE SUSTAINABLE
If you’re new to being sustainable or don’t know where to start, try growing fruit and veg. It is easier than you think, I know our garden can harvest potatoes, kale and beetroot easily through trial and error. I know what I can reuse and recycle. If you cannot grow or don’t have the space, try herbs or cress in a window sill. Refill empty bottles and jars at the local zero waste store. You don’t have to be perfect just try your best. Reduce your waste through eating left overs for lunch and have a browse through the free cycle pages online before buying something new.
