Hello,
How are you feeling today?
There was a new moon in Pisces yesterday – it’s an introspective, transformative time. A great moment to set new intentions and manifest desires.

This week I’ve finished the Creativity special edition, which will come out next month and has our Alternative Schools Guide inside – a supplement that’ll help you make the right choice for your children’s education. Pre-order your copy here.
Here’s What Else We’ve Been Up To
Visiting Kew Gardens
I love Kew so much – I used to visit lots with my older two kids, and my mum. When we visited this week my mum kept popping into my thoughts. She loved the magnolias (they’re just coming into bud), the sweeping vistas and the glass houses. I learnt that there are over 50,000 plants in the 330 acres of gardens. So much inspiration.
Iris and I do an annual trip to explore the glasshouses and play in the brilliant Children’s Garden. This year she was most captivated by the Treetop Walkway (18 metres above the ground, you get such great views up there; it’s a good place for bird spotting). And getting up high in the Palm House. I had my stomach in my mouth as she reached out to touch leaves overhanging the railings. I’m sure that my sensitivity to heights has increased as I’ve got older!
We bought a copy of An Invitation to the Botanic Gardens by Charlotte Guillain and Helen Shoesmith, to read on the train home. It’s lovely with big fold out pages to show some of the buildings and areas at Kew, and more about how climate change affects plants, the importance of insects and the secrets of seeds.
