We’ve been encouraging ethical travel, and sustainability practices in holiday accommodation, since we launched, 22 years ago. This year, we’re running our second annual Family Travel Awards, where we showcase the very best in green holidays.
It is quick and simple to register.
The first Green Parent Family Travel Guide was produced over 9 years ago - every edition is packed full of holiday accommodation to suit every taste and budget.
Once again this year we’ll be looking for the very best campsites, adventure holidays, self-catering accommodation and family attractions - highlighting your green credentials and what makes you the best.

From our customer research we know that Green Parent readers are actively looking for sustainable holidays. We will promote all entrants to our 2025 Green Parent Travel Awards in our print, and digital channels, throughout 2025.
EVERY entry will receive a mention in our Family Travel Guide 2025, published in Jan 2025. This will be a free publication to download as well as a print supplement with every copy of the February/March 2025 edition of The Green Parent magazine, available in UK newsagents and worldwide digitally through our digital partners Exact Editions, Zinio and Readly.

How do I enter?

Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter as many categories as you choose. You will need to pay a registration fee for each category that you enter.
What is the final date for entries?
All entries must be received by 13th December 2024.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced on 17th Jan 2025. Winners will be featured in The Green Parent Family Travel Guide 2025, published on this date, and featured on The Green Parent website and through all our social media channels.
If we don’t win, will we still be featured in the travel guide?
All entries to the awards will be featured in The Green Parent Travel Holiday Guide 2025.
Will there be promotional graphics if I win?
Winners will receive a promotional graphics by 6th January 2025, which can be used for marketing purposes.
Do holidays have to be based in the UK?
Holidays do not need to be based in the UK. There will be sections for European and International Holidays within the Family Holiday Guide 2025.
When will I hear if I have received an award?
All winners will be notified by 6th January 2025.
Who are the judging panel?
The Green Parent Travel Awards judges are a team of Green Parent staff members, travel writers, experts and readers.
What is the judging process?
Each entry will be carefully assessed and information requested to back up environmental credentials and sustainability practices.
What will it mean for me to win an award?
Winning an award in The Green Parent Family Travel Awards will be a huge accolade and bring great brand awareness, as you will be promoted to our readership of 100,000 eco-concious parents. Recognition from this well-respected, ethical family brand will set you apart from your competition.
How much does it cost to enter?
There is a registration fee of £97 +VAT per entry.
