Hello!
Welcome to this week's newsletter. Sorry that it's popping into your inbox on a Sunday - day of rest and family connection.
I've been finishing off the magazine and it's taken over a bit!
Anyway, I'm excited to share what I'm foraging for and how we used a brilliant book to make a home ed history programme.
Here's what I've been up to:
Finishing a magazine
It's a deadline week where we've signed off issue 120 and sent it to the printers. It's always such a mixed bag of emotions; joy at having completed an issue, fear that we've missed something, relief at having finished, sadness that it's over (and that I can't get any more articles in!).
I'm so excited about this issue - the overarching theme is sacred living - how to bring a bit of magic and wonder into the everyday.
Inside you'll find:
- How to make time for the sacred
- Why a women's circle can change your life
- 8 ways to deepen your connection with your teen
- Try our pick of the best subscription boxes
- Meet the family who live on a narrowboat
- How to save money when choosing organic
And lots, lots more.
You can pre-order your copy and get it before anyone else here.
Harvesting Mugwort
I love the silvery fronds of mugwort (Artemis Vulgaris); there's so much of it swaying on verges and field edges this year. During the summer months, I usually pick a few bundles and tie and hang them upside down to dry in the kitchen. Hanging there, it makes a handy fly (and other insect) repellent.
