Hello and a warm welcome to this week’s newsletter!

It's been a busy week.

I've been putting the finishing touches to our 120th issue (out next month), streamlining my daughter’s toys and celebrating Solstice!

Celebrating Strawberry Moon

This weekend we have a delicious combination of Solstice and full moon energy lifting us up and lighting the path forwards. The Capricorn moon (which falls on Sat 22nd at 2:08am) is all about love, purity and prosperity. You can use it to re-establish where you want to be at the end of this year and what you need to do to get there. It’s a time of refocusing. We’re halfway through the year – record the blessings you’ve received in the first half, and look ahead to the next 6 months. Take some time to reflect on the steps you need to take to move your vision forward this weekend – there’s powerful energies working in your favour. I’m going to make a vision board with my daughter to anchor in some of our dreams.

The full moon in June is known as Strawberry (or Berries Ripening) Moon in Native American tradition, and Honey or Mead Moon in Celtic lands. Hives are heavy with honey at the height of summer and therefore it's a good time to make mead. The little one and I are going to bake some cookies using the recipe in Honey Biscuits by Meredith Hooper.

It's the perfect time for harvesting fruits, especially strawberries - find your nearest Pick Your Own Farm here. Soon it'll be time for currants, cherries, damsons and plums, too.

Just a note to say that if you check out the sky after sunset tonight (around 9:20pm here in Brighton), you should be able to see the full moon all reddish pink on the horizon. It will appear larger tonight as it’s so low in the sky. Happy gazing!
