Friday May 1st is Beltane, or May Day. There are plenty of organised events Hastings’ Jack in the Green Clun's Green Man, Edinburgh's Beltane Fire, Bristol’s Jack in the Green, Rochester's Sweeps festival and burning the wicker man at Butser farm. 

Or perhaps you’d like to try something a little different this year?  Traditionally, white and yellow may flowers and wreaths were placed on doors and in windows, or strung together and placed on livestock. Perhaps you could try making a daisy chain crown for your cat!
